I work at a gasket house and I can make these base gaskets. You specify the 
thickness. I would need a sample. Email me with details.

Is anyone aware of replacements for the RS base gaskets?  The stock
ones are amazingly inconsistent in thickness and I really don't like
buying dozens at a time to sort out usable ones.
